"I came accross the instruments of Andrzej Bobak Grapny through my student colleague Mark Vanyan. Due to an injury to my hand back in 2003 the stop of my viola was getting too difficult for my hand and I was experiencing pain and strain in my hand and wrist. Mark helped me commission a new instrument by Andrzej and he made a viola magically with smaller stop without compromising the sound at all. Within 10 seconds of playing this viola I knew I wanted it. The sound is wonderful rich. I have had so many compliments about it and the craftmanship is stunning. It has a one-piece back and the wood is a work of art. Im so pleased with this viola."

[Translation from Polish] "The cello made by Andrzej Bobak has been with me since 2007. It is an extraordinary instrument which, thanks to its warm, deep tone—exceptionally strong and rounded lower strings, and clear, noble upper registers—continues to earn acclaim on the international stage. It has accompanied me at competitions and concerts on five continents and has proven reliable in all conditions. It sounds phenomenal in solo passages during performances with orchestra, while at the same time being an ideal partner in chamber music. I feel very fortunate to be able to grow artistically with the support of such a wonderful instrument!"

[Translation from Polish] "Throughout my career, I have worked with many luthiers—and even entire generations of masters - around the world. I have often been entrusted with playing in new instruments, which has given me a broad basis for comparison. From the perspective of my experience, I can say with full conviction that the quality of the instruments made by Andrzej Bobak “Grapny” sets standards that are hard to find elsewhere. What distinguishes Andrzej Bobak is a rare and genuine passion combined with masterful craftsmanship. His cellos possess an exceptional, noble, and unmistakable sound that does not diminish over time, but instead becomes deeper and richer. The visual and technical aspects of his instruments are equally outstanding. Every element is crafted with extraordinary precision and care. This makes his cellos not only excellent and reliable tools for the professional musician, but also true works of art—objects of aesthetic value that can be admired for their craftsmanship. The best proof of the trust I place in Andrzej Bobak’s workshop is the fact that most of my students play his cellos. Watching their development, I see how these instruments help them find their own voice. I do not know anyone who, playing an instrument made by “Grapny,” has not been fully satisfied. This is world-class luthiery that deserves the highest recognition."
